Walmart has started a new initiative to make its stores more user-friendly.
Starting today, shoppers can order online and pickup in-store using their smartphones.
Walmart will start accepting pre-paid credit cards on January 4 and start accepting credit cards at all locations.
The new initiative is the result of Walmart’s commitment to improving its service and product offerings, according to the company.
As of December 31, Walmart’s service offerings improved from last year, when the company said it had a 4.9% decline in the number of orders.
The company is now on track to reach its goal of 5% revenue growth by 2020, the company added.
Walmart’s new online shopping site is expected to be rolled out to all stores in January, and the company is expecting to have the new service available in all 50 states by the end of the year.
