In the face of the challenges, I am often asked how I could donate to some of the many charities that have supported my career.
The answer is a simple one: don’t.
Many of these charities operate on a sliding scale from a simple donation of your time to an enormous amount of money.
So how can you make sure you’re helping the right charity?
The answer lies in a range of different ways, but we’ll be talking about some of those in this article.
Donate to the right charities Donate as little as possible If you’re doing anything at all on a regular basis you might be tempted to give to the charities that are best suited to your lifestyle.
These can be charities that provide financial assistance to those in need, like a charity that offers free haircuts, clothing donations, food, and medical treatment, or one that is dedicated to supporting local businesses.
But don’t give too much money.
There are many charities out there that have no need for donations of your money, and if you want to help them out they’re better off donating to other charities that do.
